A Place Where Children Feel Safe, Supported, and Inspired
At Triumph Academy we recognize the importance of early learning. We recognize the crucial window of learning from 1-5 years old. A significant percentage of brain development occurs during these years and is an optimal opportunity for children to enhance their learning. Our practice will be to offer an environment of instruction and curiosity that intertwines both worlds of learning.
The Montessori method focuses on guided instruction that allows for hands on learning. Academics are important and will be included in a day at Triumph Academy, however Triumph Academy will also be emergent curriculum based. Emergent curriculum allows for a relationship between the teacher and student where the teacher will plan and implement activities and learning opportunities through guidance from the children’s interests and curiosities. At Triumph Academy we are focused on holistic development that will give children the opportunities to succeed in their future.
Rooted in Care
We believe in quality care, thoughtful education, and lifelong learning.
Our educators are recognized by the BC ministry and have attended educational institutions to provide learning and care in the classroom. They are also first aid certified. We at Triumph believe in lifelong learning and therefore put a strong focus on professional development for our educators. Along with in-house training, our educators attend and participate in workshops industry related throughout the year.
We believe in consistency and modeling behavior and therefore will work hard to build strong relationships with families, community and other industry members. We will be sure to connect these relationships with our daily operation to enrich your child’s learning. Taking the children out on neighborhood walks and playgrounds to help create an awareness of the world around them will also be instilled in our practice.
Group Child Care Under 36 months Baby
Our Baby program provides a warm, safe, and responsive environment where infants can develop secure attachments and explore the world at their own pace. Educators focus on routines, sensory experiences, and responsive care to support emotional well-being and early development.
Through gentle interaction, observation, and play-based learning, infants are encouraged to explore movement, sound, and textures. Each child’s individual rhythms and milestones are respected, laying the foundation for trust, curiosity, and healthy development.
Group Child Care Under 36 months JK1
The JK1 program supports toddlers as they begin to explore greater independence and social awareness. Our educators create engaging environments that encourage language development, movement, and early social interaction through guided play.
By observing children’s interests and emerging skills, educators plan meaningful experiences that support communication, coordination, and confidence. Daily routines and consistent care help children feel secure as they begin to explore and learn alongside peers.
Group Child Care 30 months to School age JK2
In the JK2 classroom, children are supported as they develop stronger social skills, independence, and problem-solving abilities. Learning experiences are designed to encourage creativity, collaboration, and exploration in a structured yet flexible environment.
Educators guide learning through observation and intentional planning, helping children expand language skills, emotional awareness, and early learning concepts. Children are encouraged to express ideas, build friendships, and engage with their surroundings through hands-on experiences.
Group Child Care 30 months to School age JK3
The JK3 program focuses on preparing children for the transition to school while continuing to foster curiosity and confidence. Educators support children in developing self-help skills, emotional regulation, and a strong sense of belonging within the classroom.
Through play-based learning, real-world exploration, and community connection, children strengthen critical thinking and social skills. This program encourages independence, resilience, and a positive attitude toward learning that supports success beyond early childhood.
